Family Grown Olive Oil at Hudson Fair
Tuesday, March 18th, 2014Those of you who pine for fresh from nature products will be delighted to find out that there is a Montreal company importing Greek extra virgin olive oil directly from their Dad’s family estate in Messinia, Greece. The trees have been in the family for over 100 years. Olo-Ena is first cold pressed olive oil produced by the Geo Ligris Estate.
His love and dedication to his olive trees is reflected in the delicious taste of the oil. The olives are hand picked and pressed during November and December. The pungently flavored oil, has a medium intensity and tastes wonderful drizzled over a salad, vegetables or other dishes. It can be used for low flame cooking and marinating meat.
