Secret Cashmere Place – Shh!
Oh dear. This is one of those places that you just want to keep secret. It’s the only place in the city to find real cashmere sweaters. By real cashmere, the owner has spend years tramping through the hills talking to the producers of this rare wool. He is a fountain of information on all things cashmere (and silk too).
You won’t find his cashmere in stores around here, since they are scooped up by Neiman Marcus, Barney’s, Bloomingdale’s and other U.S. fine stores. You can also score real made-by-hand pashmina and wool jacquard shawls here and silk scarves too.
The best part is that right now he is clearing out his ends of lines. Sweaters that usually sell for $375, he is selling off now for $99. Shh!
