Head to the McGill Book Fair for Tens of Thousands of Books
Tuesday, October 11th, 2016The McGill Book Fair has been a readers’ paradise since 1971, is held each autumn in Redpath Hall and offers more books than you can ever imagine in one place. The tens of thousands of used books in French and English ranging from architecture to zoology.
Expect old and new titles but also CDs, LPs, DVDs, and sheet music. One room is devoted exclusively to art and architecture, and another to old and rare books.
The Book Fair is organized and run entirely by volunteers. All proceeds are used to support McGill scholarships. Since its inception in 1971, the Book Fair has raised over $1.5-million..
