Broadway on Sherbrooke Street
Hallalujah Broadway is just the way I feel about Broadway and so it’s an aptly chosen name for the newest Lyric Theatre Singers production. Bob Bachelor (musical director and staging) and Chris Barillaro (assistant musical director) have chosen unforgettable compositions to highlight.
There is something for every Broadway addict here: from George Gershwin tunes in Crazy For You, to the the hauntingly beautiful melodies of Kismet, and Phantom of the Opera’s triumphant Masquerade to selections from Anything Goes, Once on this Island, Cabaret, Titanic, Spamalot, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, The Book of Mormon and much more.
Tickets are already on sale. Choreography was created by Mary Sarli (choreographer) and Karen Pearce did the costumes and the lighting designs are by Paul Ludwig Teichgraber.
