Bic Flame Disk
Warm weather is here and BIC is making it easier for us to grill with this year’s BBQ new product, the BIC FlameDisk. The disk is a portable, outdoor grill that is faster and more convenient than charcoal, while still providing a flame-grilled flavour.
You can BBQ without the mess of coals and ash. You simply peel off the film cover exposing the holes. Remove the food grate from your grill and place the disk in the bottom in a level position with the holes facing up. You light the fuel through any one of the outer holes. The flame will automatically spread and be ready in 4 minutes.
The FlameDisk will burn with a steady flame for about 35 to 45 minutes and at about the same rate as charcoal. Once the fuel burns out, the disk will cool rapidly. Once the fuel has completely burned, it cools in 10 minutes. Dispose of it in your trash or recycle according to local requirements for recycling of aluminum.
BIC ‘s FlameDisk can be found at Wal-Mart and “Home Hardware” and retails between $5 and $7.
To light BIC™ FlameDisk® , use BIC® Mega Lighter®. BIC® Mega Lighter® has a visual fuel supply window and retractable hook for easy storage. Both products are available in-stores now and retail for less than $7.
