Yes you can still shop at Chabanel and still get great deals. Distributeurs Iann is a landmark on the street and easily found on the ground floor. It’s worth the trip now to scoop up well-made school backpacks by Roots, Swissgear, High Sierra, Dickies and Ifly which are being sold at fabulous prices ($10,$15, $20, & up).
The rest of the space is a mixture of namebrand luggage, family clothing and household items. You’ll also find some well priced sheets (fleece and polar too), towels, bath mats and embroidered tablecloths.
For the ladies, nightgowns and girdles; for the men, pajamas, shirts and jackets, and then socks and undies for all (including Italian wool long underwear).
The assortment of baby gifts (up to 24 mos.) are at really reasonable prices – crib sheet sets, 2-piece outfits and pajamas.
