Free Literary Walking Tour June 10
You can join a free walking tour of Literary Montreal presented by Kate Browne this coming Sunday. Offering more than the usual “Leonard Cohen lives here and Mordecai Richler ate a sandwich there” (though that will also be part of the tour), the mRb Literary Walking Tour will have you discover the current literary map of Mile End.
Starting at the Parc du Portugal, the walking tour will introduce you to the Zen Poetry Festival, the Mile-End Poets’ Festival, local publishers, the neighbourhood’s spoken word scene, as well as current writers and artists. Expect poetry, music, prose, a dynamic guide and refreshments at the end.

Time: 2 pm
Duration: approximately 2 hours
Departure: Parc du Portugal (corner of rue Vallières et boulevard Saint-Laurent)
