One day a year Montreal’s Liquid Nutrition stores hold a “Giving Day” – and celebrate by offering customers FREE smoothies – either the Jamaican Me Crazy or the Mangoes Berry Crazy. Today’s the day.

“It’s their way of giving back to the community”, says the chain’s Chantal Chamandy, and at the same time, they hope to encourage Montrealers to give to those in need. They would like us to to help Sun Youth by contributing non-perishable foods between now and Dec. 22. In each store they set up cardboard bins and hope to amass a large amount of canned items such as canned fish, pasta sauce, canned fruits and juices.

Locations:  2019 Bishop; 1420 Drummond; 2110 Guy; 3480 McTavish, on the McGill University campus; 69 Mont-Royal  Ouest; 1455 Peel; food court of Les Cours Mont-Royal; 625 Ste-Catherine Ouest; in the food court of Promenades Cathédrale; 1303 Ste-Catherine est; 800 Carre Victoria, food court.
