The accomodating owner of Faon, a mother of 3 with a degree in Patternmaking from F.I.T., exchanged her fashion job in NYC to raise a family in Montréal. She opened Faon in 2008.
Faon is baby friendly with a ramp, wide aisles, and a dressing room large enough to accommodate strollers. There is also a giant playhouse for the kids so parents can actually shop as well as an aquarium mounted in the counter at the cash to entertain the stroller-bound.
This fashionista shies away from stifling baby pink/baby blue clothing (sizes 0-8) and buys Québec brands first (Hatley, Nanö, Electrik Kidz, Petit Lem, Coccoli, Calikids). Faon also offers a tastefully edited selection of imports that combine style, quality and economy like the ultra popular Tea Collection, Noppies, Mayoral, Toobydoo, Appaman, See Kai Run and Tuc Tuc , as well as Zutano (from Vermont)
