Q&A: Shoes Which Can Be Adjusted in the Store
Q: I love you blog oh sorry shlog … My mom is 84 has severe arthritis and requires footwear . I think have been to most l the shoe stores that sell to the handicapped . Once in a while might find something but always have to get a major adjustment . Just hopeful that you might know of a place that might be helpful .
A: I have a really good place for that. Chaussures Le Depot, 501 de l’Eglise, Verdun. They have sizes 4-12 AA-EE. What’s good about the store is that they have lots of inventory and have the patience to keep going into the back and find another and another to try until they find one (or more) that fits. Also, they have the ability to stretch the shoes, fix the shoes to make them work or put in orthotics. Great shop.
