With their own smoker (and no MSG or phosphates!), La Bernoise has been able to cook authentic German and Swiss specialty sausages, smoked pork chops and veal roast, smoked ham, bacon and smoked pork hocks. Those diehard fans of Kovac were devastated when their warehouse outlet (at #6869) closed on Henri Bourassa West but all is not lost because a newer different version opens for a few hours a week in the back of the same building (go to the right of the building).
